Katherine Neumann

Katherine received her comprehensive Pilates training from Polestar Pilates in 2019 under the guidance of Ada Wells. She discovered Pilates over ten years ago while rehabilitating a foot injury and was amazed by how effectively the method healed her. She aims to instill a sense of confidence and joy of movement in others through their Pilates journey.

Miki Kim

Miki is a co-owner of Contrology Studio and received her certification through Dorothee VandeWalle, Metropolitan Pilates. She holds a BS degree in Human Nutrition from The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her lessons offer various benefits, including nutrition and wellness coaching, specialized pre/post-natal exercises, rehabilitation, and injury prevention.

I have seven years of experience, and I believe that physical exercise is one of the pillars to longevity and a healthy lifestyle. My goal as a fitness profesional is to share the incredible benefits of exercise with as many people as I can. My workouts are functional and vary constantly, every class will be a new experience. I will help you stay accountable, raise up the bar and challenge you in new ways. I also provide weekly workouts so you can stay active even on the days you're not with me

A Classical Pilates Studio in the Mission District, SF. We offer Private, Semi-privates, and small group classes with instructors who have all completed over 700+ hours of training. We teach the classical method that our mentors have taught over three generations. Sessions are geared toward the individual and modified according to the person's specific needs. The studio uses Gratz equipment, the original manufacturer and the industry's established source of authentic equipment.
